Teaser · 100 % AI · no shoot · 2025

A teaser for two brands · without a single shoot day

Two brands, one shared appearance, no production budget for a set. The teaser is built entirely generatively, and still has to look like it came out of a camera.

01 · Brief

What had to be solved

Collaborations live or die on both signatures staying legible. The ask was a short film bringing together the aesthetics of KVN Design and Matsu without either side dominating, made with no shoot day, no location and no cast.

02 · Approach

How I approached it

Style first, prompts second. I defined a reference world, light, colour temperature, lens character, materiality, and built a prompt set from it that returns every shot in the same handwriting. This is where generative production is won or lost: not on one beautiful frame, but on twenty frames that credibly come from the same film.

03 · Execution

What actually happened

  • Style reference and prompt set locked before the first shot was generated
  • Several generations per shot, ruthless selection, waste is part of the method
  • Cut for rhythm rather than completeness: the teaser implies more than it shows
  • Motion design for the transitions and the resolve of the two logos
  • Sound design and mix: atmosphere, accents, one clear peak

04 · Why it matters

What counts about it

The film shows that generative production can be planned. Not “let's see what the model spits out,” but a defined look that holds across every shot, the precondition for AI being usable in brand communication at all.
